Trends. Genres. Creations. Guest Speaker - Piruli Design In-Person
At Piruli Design, creating clothes is more than sewing knits together. It's a process -Retrieve plastic waste. Break plastic down into pellets. Plastic pellets are recycled into threads. Thread is knitted, cut and sewn into our clothing.
Piruli Design started at our very own Cal Poly Pomona Student Innovation Lab (iLab). Their mission is to change to way the world sees waste. They do this by giving plastics and other waste a new life.
Join us as they share their story and mission in opening our eyes about clothing and waste.
