Theme: This Is Me! - Self Portrait Activity

In this activity, children will start by looking at themselves in the mirror and recognizing their physical features.(hair, nose, glasses, color of skin, etc.) Coloring their paper plate to match their skin tone, they will then add yarn for hair, and lastly draw in nose, eyes (or googly eyes), mouth and/or unique attributes that they may have.
Supplies recommended for activity
If you would like to join us in creating a paper plate self portrait, please have
1) variety of coloring pencils, crayons, or markers.
2) Mirror
3) Glue
4) Scissors
5) Yarn
6) Googly eyes (optional)
7)Paper plate
