The Special Collections and Archives Reading Room is open for primary source research only. It is not intended for use as a study area. Please select Study Rooms from the drop down menu if you need a study room.
The Special Collections and Archives Reading Room is now open Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm by appointment.
It is recommended that researchers make reservations at least 48-hours in advance to ensure availability of materials and staffing. Please consult our revised guidelines when planning a research visit to Special Collections and Archives.
The Special Collections and Archives Reading Room is located within the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Library (room 1734) on the first floor of the University Library (building 15), next to the Starbucks.
Reservations can be made for more than an hour at a time. If you believe your research visit will take longer than an hour, please choose the start time by clicking on an hour block within the table and then choose the end time from the drop-down menu below the reservation block.
Once you have selected a reservation time, do not refresh the web page or use the browser's back button. Doing so will lock the reservation time and prevent you from submitting the request for a few minutes.
