Special Collections and Archives Reading Room hours during the spring semester are from Monday to Thursday, 10:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm. We also offer appointments during other routine business hours. It is recommended that researchers make reservations at least 48-hours in advance to ensure the availability of materials and staffing. Please consult our revised guidelines when planning a research visit to Special Collections and Archives. The Special Collections and Archives Reading Room is located within the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Library (room 1734) on the first floor of the University Library (building 15), next to the Starbucks.
Reservations can be made for more than an hour at a time. If you believe your research visit will take longer than an hour, please choose the start time by clicking on an hour block within the table and then choose the end time from the drop-down menu below the reservation block.
Once you have selected a reservation time, do not refresh the web page or use the browser's back button. Doing so will lock the reservation time and prevent you from submitting the request for a few minutes.
